Job Summary:
Perform duties to build electrical sub-assemblies and mount, wire and test components on pharmaceutical processing equipment.

Responsibilities Work from orders, prints/schematics, material lists and instructions to perform the following job duties:

Plan assembly operations, move pre-picked parts to work area, check parts to verify accuracy of parts picked

• Pull required hardware from stock bins in accordance with print specifications.
• Review schematics and engineering drawings to plan electrical assembly operations.
• Layout components, mounting rails, wire chases and other electrical assemblies to panels and enclosures.
• Drill, tap and mount components to electrical panels and enclosures.
• Mount components and sub-assemblies to final machine, layout, measure and fit components as needed

. Measure, cut and install conduit and wire per engineering drawings/schematics

. Build harness cables, solder and crimp as necessary.

• Properly terminate wires and ensure all wires and components are labeled per schematics.
• Test connections and troubleshoot issues, complete electrical checkout procedures as required.

Equipment

• Employee will be expected to be comfortable using a pipe threader, overhead hoist, forklift truck, ladders, power tools, measuring tools, meters, power supplies, strippers, crimpers, soldering iron, heat gun, label machine, power screwdriver, continuity tester, and hand tools. Training will be provided as needed based on company safety requirements. Employee is required to supply their own tool set including standard and metric wrenches, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, allen keys and other misc. hand tools. All consumables, specialty tools and equipment will be provided.
