POSITION: EDUCATIONAL INTERPRETER FOR THE DEAF

SALARY: Classified Salary Schedule
Range 37 (Step B-$33.93 to Step G-$43.30)

HOURS: Monday through Friday – 6.5 Hours per work day
195 days (184 word days + 11 paid holidays)

QUALIFICATIONS: Complete job description available at the District Office or online.

● Proficient in sign language with the ability to communicate with a deaf student for classroom instruction and all school related activities;

● CA Dept. of Education recognized certifications for a deaf interpreter are highly desirable.

● Speech & Listening Skills.
● Must pass DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance
● TB Clearance required prior to working
● Valid California Driver License
● Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
