Works with the Corporate Director of eCommerce & Marketing to ensure that PHM and its resorts initiate and maintain a leading edge in eCommerce, social media, reputation management, and marketing strategies relative to each resort’s competitive set and the industry; while keeping PHM visible to the public and within the industry trades.
- Assist the Director of E-Comm & Marketing to develop and execute of the brand strategy for Paramount Hospitality Management’s portfolio of brands.Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy—including campaigns, events, website, digital marketing, SEO, PR, social and reputation management.
- Work closely with the general managers, revenue management and sales teams; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing the appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
- Oversee the execution of best practices across email, social, media buying, Customer Relationship Management, reporting, etc.
- Assist the Corporate Director of E-Comm & Marketing in maintaining and tracking budgets to make sure funds are allocated correctly.
- Help manage multiple budgets and place media that optimizes for the right message, right time, and right consumer.
- Responsible for assisting in the reporting on return on investment/return on advertising spending, understanding success metrics, and leveraging centralized tools where appropriate.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership and local teams to plan the marketing spend and roll out long-term marketing initiatives
- Responsible for adhering to the marketing budget.
- Manage and execute Expedia Travel Ads and Bookings ads to ensure the highest return.
- Evaluate performance market-by-market, making adjustments to meet marketing strategy in changing market or competitive conditions.
- Compile relevant demographic data for marketing and E-Comm team.
- Work with central digital media buying, partnerships, CRM, and creative teams to help develop digital marketing plans for targeted audiences, custom creative, and impactful partnership activations.
- Responsible for creating, managing and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Manage Content Management System (CMS) which supports the publishing of web content as needed.
- Oversee creation of graphics for ecards, banners, posters, social media posts, radio station needs, and emails.
- Conduct marketing research and compile businesses for promotions based on guests’ interests/demographics including influencers.
- Assists with planning of photo shoots and photographer selection.
- Must be able to quickly change project focus based on hotel and owner requests.
- Communicate effectively with all departments and team members.
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics and image of self and subordinates.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with our vendors to ensure best price and quality of work/goods delivered that also yield a respective ROI to the resorts and company.
- Instill professionalism to all staff.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Expedite special projects as requested within the timeframe as required.
- Operate in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and government regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for both employees and guests.
Requirements:
- Ability to think strategically
- Previous marketing and e-commerce experience
- Ability to manage processes
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Experience utilizing social media platforms
- Experience utilizing a CRM solution
- 2– 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in the Orlando market
