Our client is seeking an Ecological Project Manager in their Cincinnati, OH office. You’ll lead project teams on a wide variety of exciting projects. Working with clients, contractors, and government officials, you will be involved in the entire project - from the conceptual and design phases, through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction. You will lead all aspects of a project: writing proposals, maintaining the budget and schedule, mentoring, and directing staff, and interacting with regulatory agencies.
Projects will/may include any of the following areas of emphasis: wetland and stream assessments, delineations, and mitigation; natural stream channel and wetland restoration design, construction observation and monitoring; stormwater monitoring; and endangered species surveys across our diverse client base.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ecological fieldwork, environmental permitting and reporting, and other related activities
- Demonstrated experience performing wetland and waters field delineations and obtaining relevant regulatory permits for complex projects (experience in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, &/or West Virginia preferred)
- Ability to provide technical expertise, mentor and lead other staff and managers in the ecological practice; and
- Ability to manage multiple activities and collaborate with teams of technical professionals in other disciplines to execute complex multi-discipline projects.
