**Transportation Driver is a Tipped Position**
Under general supervision will operate transportation vehicles (shuttle bus, limousine, vans, cars, etc.) within the employee’s license limitations, transporting passengers over designated route and on special runs as directed. Will provide excellent guest service and will perform related duties as assigned.

- Perform driving duties on and off JRCR Property.
- Drivers shall make decisions pertaining to the safety of passenger riders relevant to road and climate conditions affecting safety.
- Completes daily reports on the operating condition and/or defects of an assigned vehicle.
- Conducts daily safety inspection of assigned vehicle before beginning the route.
- Attends retraining and drivers skills improvement sessions as assigned.
- Maintains current knowledge of federal, state, city and Jackson Rancheria rules and regulations applicable to the position.
- If passengers are handicapped, provides special care and assistance as appropriate.
- Keeps records of the operation of assigned vehicles as required by the terminal.
- Checks oil, fluid levels and verify safety equipment is operational and complete; as well as fueling vehicles.
- Maintains buses and other vehicles in a safe and clean condition, such as cleaning, sweeping and washing buses and minor repairs.
- Detailing vehicles using specialized cleaning chemicals and tools.
- Ensures departure and arrival times are as scheduled and that guests are picked up and dropped off as assigned.
- Fitting and removal of tire chains as may be necessary to maintain traction on ice and snow covered roads.
- Other duties may be assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
- Current California Commercial Class B license with passenger (P) endorsement - must be vehicle insurable through JRCR's Agent
- Current Medical Certificate DL-51
- Will be required to become CPR certified; in-house training provided
Pay range: $17.00 - $22.10 per hour
Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
