The Director / Senior Director of Human Resources, The Americas will provide HR business partnership and support to the Global Busines Units based in the US. This role can be based remotely anywhere in the US, with a preference for the Raleigh-Durham area of NC.

This position will promote positive employee relations through the design, communication, and interpretation of HR policies and programs. Proven practical experience leading change and increasing organizational effectiveness within dynamic organizations is required. Collaboration and alignment to strategy whilst balancing unique requirements is an important skill. The development of talent in the team to support the growth of HR and the company is imperative.

Principal Responsibilities

The Director / Senior Director of Human Resources, The Americas will provide HR leadership and counsel to management and will develop and implement effective human resource strategies that drive overall business objectives, including:

o Organizational design and effectiveness (20%)
o Change management (20%)
o Employee relations (5%)
o Talent acquisition and retention (5%)
o Employee development (10%)
o Performance Management (5%)
o Succession planning (10%)
o Leadership & team development (20%)
o Continuous improvement through process excellence (5%)

Education / Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA in HR or related field required. An MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience and broad functional expertise in employee development, talent assessment, compensation, change management, employee relations, and employment law.

  • Success in developing and implementing a comprehensive approach to talent management, with demonstrated ability to translate strategy into plans and actions.

  • Experience in the implementation of talent management processes and programs including talent assessment, talent development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Results oriented, with a strong track record of success in delivering on objectives.
