The Supply Chain Manager responsible for sourcing a variety of food, paper, and miscellaneous products with an annual spend over $20M. The Supply Chain Manager will report to the Director of Supply Chain and will be based Coppell, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and manage landed cost components and purchase agreements for a variety of food and packaging products.
• Develop and manage strong vendor relationships while gaining expertise across various lines of product.
• Analyze current commodity market news, trends, analyst projections and generate proactive reporting and analysis on an ongoing basis
• Generate value for customers through cost savings, product / service enhancement, and innovation.
• Evaluate, document, and manage vendor performance.
• Manage product samples for approval
• Provide support and add value to important customer strategic initiatives.
• In coordination with Customer Success Team, address all QA related issues from the customer
• Supply Chain liaison with Culinary and R&D teams when evaluating new products or improving existing ones.
• Fully participate in product cuttings/evaluations and provide relevant sourcing recommendations to leadership team.
• Create and maintain records for a variety of vendors and products. This includes but is not limited to new item set up, required vendor paperwork, product spec sheets / nutritional’s, Contracts, pricing agreements / related terms, and shelf life details.
• Participate in new product planning processes and ensure timely acquisition of products to support research, testing, and system launches.
• Work closely with other departments within the company to ensure alignment on normal business processes as well as strategic initiatives
• Willing to travel when needed (Up to 20% of the time)

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience sourcing food service products in general for restaurant chains
• Hands on professional with attention to detail and eager to develop creative solutions
• Analytical / strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills
• Organized and able to plan projects through to launch date and execute against plan to achieve on-time, on-budget start-ups, successful LTOs and other promotions
• Proven track record of reducing costs, improving quality & service
• Excellent communication skills
• High energy and sense of urgency
• Ability to drive multiple projects concurrently
• Relevant college degree / MBA or professional certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
