We are looking for Director of IT for our headquarters office in Sausalito, California. In this hybrid-work position, you will be required to work in the office 3-4 days per week and telecommute the remaining workdays. Our office location offers an easy commute with plenty of free parking.

The work includes managing and supporting our corporate network infrastructure, software product development environments, and global partner deployments. The successful candidate must excel at working independently in a fast-paced environment, be directly hands-on, and have deep knowledge and experience with Linux, Internet Protocols, and Layer 2 / Layer 3 secure communications network configuration and management. Required Education and Experience:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in installing and configuring routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPN gateways, and network attached storage to support corporate network infrastructure
• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux, Windows, and Mac desktop environments including security policy enforcement, anti-virus and backup solutions for a distributed hybrid workforce
• 2+ years of experience in installing and operating Linux based Software-as-a-Service solutions; AWS experience a plus
• 2+ years of experience with Identity and Access Management systems as well as IT Service Management platforms
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong hardware and software product troubleshooting skills a must
• Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Linux system administration
• TCP/IP routing and switching protocols; 802.1X, LDAP, RADIUS
• Network and Application Security Services (CA/PKI, TLS, IPSec, etc.)
• Ansible or equivalent automated software installation and configuration management
• Nagios or equivalent application monitoring
• Strong Bash/Perl/Python/PHP scripting skills
• VM, VPC, Security, RDS management in AWS and/or Azure
• Excellent communication, writing, organizational and inter-personal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
