Job description
Wanted –Direct Support Staff for a 23-year-old male with autism who lives in his own apartment in Farmingdale, NY . This young man is intelligent, friendly but sometimes shy. He enjoys video games especially Dungeons and Dragons, likes going out into the community but does not like to go to restaurants or stores.
We are looking for someone who can work with him on Tuesday and Thursdays starting at 8:00 am . Hours on other weekdays are somewhat flexible.
This position is through OPWDD's self direction program where a background check will be performed before final hire.
