Legacy House of Ogden is looking for a Dining Service Director to join our community!

Come join the Western States Senior & Retirement Community team as the Dining Service Director! If you are a self-starter, with the ability to cultivate a team while performing job tasks efficiently and effectively this is the job for you!

Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the main building kitchen and dinning room. Ensure that food quality, taste, and appearance meets and exceeds the residents' and the Western States Senior & Retirement Communities expectation

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Develop menus that are varied and appealing to the residents. Meets and exceeds resident satisfaction goals.

Orders, stores, and prepares food in sufficient qualities to adequately meet demand, while staying within budgetary and expenditure limits.

Supervises and delivers food in a fine dinning and gracious manner and atmosphere.

Maintains the dinning room in an elegant, marketable manner at all times.

Supervises food service staff to ensure consistent quality in food production and delivery, ensures staff are neat and clean in appearance, and maintains standards for hospitality and quality service.

Maintains compliance with all regulatory, health, and infection control standards.

Practices positive resident relations by demonstrating Western States Senior & Retirement Communities hospitality and service standards to residents, families, visitors, and the general public.

Practice all safety, loss prevention and infection control procedures.

Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and experience in food production, and fine dinning/restaurant delivery systems.

Ability to supervise effectively staff.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, visitors, supervisor and associates.

Willingness to work with the elderly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $47,000.00 per year
