POSITION SUMMARY

The Dining Room Manager plays a critical role in providing the exceptional hospitality based dining experience our residents and their guests have grown accustomed to. As the Dining Room Manager, you will manage the total dining room operation in our on-site restaurant including hiring, supervising and training of our restaurant servers. This position is a hands-on management position assisting with the restaurant meal service, special events and room service delivery as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Coordinates and assists all food & beverage service throughout the community including restaurant, bistro, room service & special event functions.
• Supervises and coordinates the cleanliness and sanitation of all community dining areas.
• Interviews, hires, trains, coaches and schedules all front of house serving staff.
• Ensures consistent exceptional customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous supervisor experience in restaurant, hotel, resort or comparable food service industry.
• Knowledge of Cleaning Standards in a Commercial food operation
• Ability to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends
