Job description
Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, TXis seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to train the next generation of up-and-coming diesel Technicians.
Key Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in servicing and maintaining class 8 vehicles
- OEM or Equivalent industry related training
- Required ASE's: T4, T5, T6, and T8. Preferred: T1-T8
- EPA 609 certification
Responsibilities:
- Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner using approved course materials and teaching methods.
- Communicate, support and enforce school policies and procedures; advise students accordingly.
- Provide students with academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement as necessary.
- Develop learning aids, projects, and formative or summative assessments relevant to the subject matter taught.
- Contribute to the curriculum review process as necessary and required.
- Where applicable, visit externship/internship/clinical/technical partner sites and complete the required documentation as assigned.
- Aid in class equipment and inventory controls
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS-Office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude
- Excellent ability to work independently, stay on task, and meet time sensitive goals
- Comfortable with using technology
