Shop Operating Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and rotating Saturday's 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Specific Shift Hours TBD - Based on preference along with shop need.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Diagnose and repair vehicles according to OEM guidelines with moderate supervision and communicate needed repairs to management.

EXPECTATIONS:
· Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintain equipment by performing inspections identify work and/or damaged parts
· Diagnose and repair vehicles according to OEM guidelines.
· Make recommendations of repairs needed to management to provide estimate and communicate with customer.
· Correct vehicle deficiencies by replacing, repairing, and adjusting parts. This may include disassembly of major components, subcomponents, or systems to include engine, drive train, electrical, air conditioning, cabs, clutches or other components.
· Perform repairs within given timelines.
· Complete testing on vehicles, which may include the need to drive such vehicles.
· Repairs and time must be accounted for by properly documenting the steps taken for correction of customer complaint.
· Repairs that will possibly be paid by warranty, parts must be saved and tagged with the work order number and placed in the warranty room.
· Use shop provided tools as per intended use. Should a tool be lost or broken, report this to management immediately
· Properly dispose of any fluids.
· Clean work bay when repairs are complete.
· Follow general safety rules for each job. Ear/eye protection, leather boots, safety cages, etc.
· Must supply tools to make job as efficient as possible.
Obtain a CDL within the first year of employment. The Company will assist to comply.
· Document detailed repairs performed on each repair order via computer.
· May be asked to travel at times.
· Complete continuing education courses.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
·A minimum of 5 years of Diesel engine experience and/or medium duty gas engines.
· Training on multiple different classes of trucks.
· CDL is preferred. (Company will assist employee to comply.)
· Possess strong attention to detail.
· Ability to ready and comprehend instructions and information.
· General computer skills highly desired.

EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or GED.
· Some college courses are preferred.
· Willing to continue education as directed a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Ability to view computer monitor.
· Alpha/numeric keyboarding.
· Ability to lift up to 25–50 pound.
· Standing, climbing, stooping, squatting, walking, and reaching for long periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical, vibrations, fumes or airborne particles, toxic and outside weather conditions.
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to very loud.
· Works indoors and out. Exposed to outside weather.
COMPENSATION:
- · Competitive Pay $20.00 - $35.00 an hour (Based on Experience)
