Developmental Service Worker
Job description
The City of Jefferson is currently accepting applications for a Service Worker Part Time no benefits for our Public Works- Transit Department. This position will perform general facility cleaning and light maintenance, clean, fuel and service transit buses.
Clean transit facility and buses. Perform light maintenance (check oil and fluid levels) and service buses.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have the availability to work a 4 or 5-hour shift Monday-Friday starting at 2:00 PM or 6:30 PM.
We prefer a candidate to have a Missouri Class B CDL with air-brake and passenger endorsement, it will be required within 6 month of employment (training provided).
Candidates must be able to pass a drug test as well as a background test, with no DUI/DWI offenses in the past 10 years.
This position does not receive insurance or other related benefits.
