Summary of Position
The Scheduler will report directly to the Scheduling Manager. The primary responsibility of the Scheduler is to schedule staff in the home's of adults with developmental disabilities where there is a staffing vacancy. The Scheduler has the responsibility to ensure that staffing services listed in a consumer's ISP are implemented.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Contact staff to fill in any position for all Upreach, LLC consumers.
- Provide a confirmation call and text or email to ensure that adequate staff report to shift.
- Maintain daily notes detailing date and time shift was offered and outcome of offer.
- Maintain the open shifts calendar and is responsible for ensuring all open shifts are placed on that calendar.
- Maintain the van reserve schedule and ensure that clients who need wheelchair vans are accommodated.
- Assist the Program Managers in maintaining the Current Site Schedule Roster.
- Contact consumers, parents/guardians, and lead staff when applicable regarding all staffing changes and to inform them of who is working the shift.
- Ensure that all employees are scheduled for a shadow shift prior to working with each consumer, or in some cases, when a shadow shift is not necessary at least meet the consumer prior to working their first scheduled shift. This includes informing the current staff who will be training the new employee and getting consent from the consumer and if applicable the parent/guardian.
- Ensure that all shifts are filled for the day before leaving for the evening and ensure that all weekend shifts are filled before leaving on Friday.
- Additional Responsibility- Participate in the On-Call rotation

Requirements + Qualifications:
- High School Degree or GED
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities strongly desired
- Previous scheduling experience desired
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
