How You'll Make a Difference:

The Manager of Salesforce Development will be responsible for managing a team of Salesforce developers and admins and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's Salesforce systems. You will also be responsible in leading QA associates to develop and maintain strong technical test & regression process. In addition to overseeing the team, the Manager of Information Systems will also be responsible working with stakeholders to design solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and introduce new technologies. This individual will play a key role in driving the business forward by ensuring that all Salesforce systems are well-maintained, efficient, and aligned with the company's goals. This is a role that combines thinking and doing, with a heavy emphasis on building a high-performing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage integrations of other internal systems and ensure data consistency/integrity
• Review requirements brought by users, provide feedback to design documents, and implement and ensure a smooth delivery following Quality Assurance processes
• Optimize processes and workflow to reduce load on system and complexity of processes
• Liaise on technical issues related to Salesforce and Sales-supporting tools, setting best practices including integration and QA/Audit processes to ensure issues are proactively identified and corrected
• Participate on the salesforce development and implementation of solutions
• Oversee and execute fit analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, prototyping, testing, documentation and deployment of solutions leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities and features
• Define technical architecture that may include integration and authentication across multiple systems and the development of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
• Manage the development and delivery of solutions, including teams, tools & environments
• Adhere to platform best practices for implementing Salesforce solutions in compliance with security standards, including standard and custom platform development with Lightning Components, Apex, Visualforce and code quality techniques
• Understand and apply Agile methodology to promote continuous iteration of development and testing throughout lifecycle of the project
• Collaborate with product management on backlog refinement
• Lead implementation plans, including setting and performing QA plan prior to rollout
• Set processes and ensure regular internal system audits, preparing for upgrades as required
• Develop and mentor next generation of Salesforce practitioners
• People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities
• Contribute to project estimating, planning, contracting and staffing activities
• This individual is responsible for overseeing and leading QA activities and team members across multiple Dallas locations
• You will contribute to improving the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of QA team members and processes
• Lead and take accountabilities for all deliverables such as salesforce development, test plans, data collection, results, etc., must be reviewed by the you to ensure that all deliveries to customers meet or exceed expectations
• Follow SDLC best practices in both an agile scrum or Kanban environment
• Hold the development teams accountable for quality of code, achieving committed work within a sprint or by project deadlines
• Work with the team to design solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and introduce new technologies
• Oversee intake of business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
• Lead a team of Salesforce developers in complex custom developments of entire applications using Apex and LWC

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Critical thinker, reviewing dashboards/reports and data with a keen eye for details and an aim to solve problems
• Accurate and detail-oriented individual who can own entire processes
• A proactive attitude to platform enhancements
• Proper working environment to complete work remotely
• Availability outside of regular business hours might be required occasionally for troubleshooting system issues
• Proven project management capabilities across multiple teams
• A creative problem-solver with the ability to turn product requirements into solutions
• Experience maintaining business development timelines and leading business development pursuits end-to-end
• Ability to foresee and communicate project risk and issues to technology and business stakeholders
• Have a keen attention to detail, be passionate about process improvement, and be adept at working in a cross-functional team environment to ensure all internal and customer deliverables meet exceptional quality standards
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications

• 6+ years of experience in requirements gathering requirements, documenting, and user story creation
• 6+ years of experience in software development, including experience leading a team
• Minimum of 3 years of experience work with and leading in Agile/Scrum
• 2+ years’ developing, testing, and supporting robotic process automation solutions such as Selenium, RPA Blue Prism, UiPath Automation Anywhere esc.
• Salesforce Admin, Developer or Health Cloud Certification
