Corporate Development Director

Purpose of the Role: To assist in the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of partnership and M&A activities including valuation, market analyses, presentation development; deal negotiation and management; integration planning and management. Provide support on other activities as they develop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing acquisition opportunities, including data room oversight, financial analyses, and document review
• Valuation, including DCF, comparable transaction, comparable trading
• Development of presentation materials for executives and board of directors’ discussions
• Managing integration activities
• Developing and maintaining industry relationships with emerging education companies
• Managing internal and external discussions and negotiations on partnerships
• Maintaining partnership relationships

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• BA/BS Degree in Business or Finance
• Minimum of 5 years Investment banking experience, including M&A or consulting experience
• Professional demeanor and ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders and external counterparts
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong analytical skills: ability to think creatively about problem solving and opportunity evaluation.
• Possesses a solid understanding of Company's markets, products, players, and technologies or a demonstrable willingness to learn
• Team player with the ability to build consensus across various internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to travel 10% of the time (via, car, train, and/or airplane)

Preferred

• Master’s or MBA preferred.

Benefits and Salary Range:
Salary Range: $125,000 to $150,000. Our salary ranges are based on national averages. We have wide ranges so we can be flexible and determine compensation based on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education and location.
