Together, we'll continue manufacturing products that enable our clients to be successful within their varying industries serving customers worldwide.

Through our partnership, we're expanding in Virginia at our Headquarters in Leesburg and our Manufacturing facility in Danville.

We're currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our Engineering department in our Danville, Virginia facility. Design Engineers solve customer and production problems by creating original products or updating the customers electronic products. Plan, develop, design, create, build, and test solutions for production and customers.

This is a role in which you will:

  • Design and develop functional test fixtures
  • Perform diagnostics on production assemblies
  • Design and perform testability reviews
  • Write test procedures
  • Interface with customer technical contacts to resolve test issues
  • Support Test personnel with diagnostic help
  • Troubleshoot RMA units. Interface with customers to develop product design requirements and associated project labor and material cost estimates
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing during all phases of development to optimize design for cost, performance, manufacturability, service and reliability
  • Participate in the specification, design, debug, documentation and delivery of cost-effective high-quality cable products to manufacturing


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical engineering or Technical Associates Degree
  • Previous Technical, Engineering, or Manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of digital, cable and analog electronic circuit design
  • Demonstrated knowledge of problem solving, creativity and analytical skills
  • Experience in the use of CAE tools for design, analysis, and schematic generation
  • Strong computer skills
  • Self-directed work ethic as well as the ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO processes

Working Conditions:

Time allocated is approximately one-half office and one-half shop floor depending on manufacturing schedules.
