The Village of Altamont has immediate openings for the following positions:
-Full-Time Laborer
-Full-Time Water/Wastewater Operator
Each position works as part of the Public Works team. Public Works employees perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to; water and wastewater plant maintenance and testing, park maintenance, mowing, plowing, seasonal projects, road and infrastructure maintenance.
Position requirements: Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, ability to work as part of a team, accuracy, responsibility, a great attitude, and strong work ethic.
Additional requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
Starting salary: $20-25 an hour depending on experience and certifications.
