We are looking for a determined, high energy, well organized individual for the position of Model Room Technician to join our Modern Dental Lab in Troy, Michigan.

*Qualified candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience are eligible for a sign on bonus of $1000, after 120 days of continued employment.*

Primary Responsibilities & Skills:

• Read and follow directions on prescription. Be able to understand a doctors’ preferences.
• Follow in-process laboratory Quality Assurance standards.
• Pour, trim, section, and articulate stone models from patients’ impressions.
• Operate and maintain a variety of dental laboratory tools and equipment such as: trimmers, lathes, saw, articulators, and cleaning devices.
• Maintain dental tools and equipment with cleanliness and care.
• Follow daily schedule and production goals.
• All other duties as assigned or as otherwise required

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a relevant field or dental environment preferred.
• Excellent hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to stand for extended hours and lift weight up to 20lbs.
• Good communication skills.
• Advanced die trimming experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
