We're searching for Registered Dental Hygienist who loves working with children. We are a pediatric dental practice like no other, we have therapy dogs that will love on you as much as our sweet patients! We're looking for a person who has experience working with kids and loves to make them smile. We offer flexible hours, a competitive salary and benefits are paid for. This is a position that requires no overtime and has time for vacation and sick days.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; excellent chair side manner.
• Take radiographs using Nomad
• Administer anesthetic before treatment.
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors’ schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance

Follow organizations safety policies and procedures

• Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications, understanding impact with dentistry) and document appropriately in patients chart.
• Help clean the office and treatment rooms
• Explain treatment to parents and children.
• Be aware of child's dental history.
• Prepare child for dental treatment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour
