Adventure Dental is currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant for our office in Vancouver, WA!

We are a bustling combo practice (Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics) that is fast-paced and fun-filled! We are looking for an upbeat and uber-friendly Dental assistant who will promote our kid friendly environment with patients while assisting the Doctor and completing all necessary dental procedures with each patient. Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures
• Promotes an optimal kid-friendly environment that is both comfortable and fun
• Instructs patients in oral hygiene and diet health as well as appropriate “snacks” as encouraged by Adventure Dental

• Assists and completes all dental assistant procedures as instructed such as coronal polish, pit and
• fissure sealant application, post-operative care, rubber dam placement, topical fluoride treatments
• Properly exposes Digital radiographs using Carestack templates appropriately
• Anticipates patient and dentist needs for each initialized procedure,aiming to be one step ahead
• Prepares patient for discharge including scheduling next appointment, route slip, and accurate charting
• Turns and cleans treatment rooms according to OSHA protocol after each patient
• Keeps treatment rooms neat and organized, restocking carts as often as needed
• Records dental histories and patient records using Carestack applications
• Communicates effectively and clearly with team members and patients
• Addresses problems and issues with practical solutions
• Verified procedure consent forms are signed by parents prior to visit: Treatment, Oral Sedation
• Observes patient confidentiality at all times
• Assists Sterile Assistant in keeping sterile laboratories orderly and functioning on-time
• Fit bands
• Operate iTero Scanner

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of dental assisting experience with an outgoing personality and an advanced
• Ability to communicate with patients and fellow employees
• Completion of CODA-accredited Dental Assistant School
• CPR Certification
• Active Washington State Registered Dental Assistant Licensure
