Job description

We are searching for a detail-oriented enthusiast who will take pride in setting people up with their new bike. This is the person responsible for preparing and conducing in-store deliveries at our shop, guiding customers and answering questions about their purchase, assisting in loading and securing the vehicle to a trailer, and overall make picking up a bike an enjoyable experience.

Requirements

• Must have general familiarity and mechanical knowledge of motorcycles, snowmobiles, and ATVs.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement and good driving record.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• Must be able to obtain NPD Bike Moving and Bike Loading Certifications for all categories within 30days of hire, unless otherwise approved by Management.
• Confident, friendly mannerisms when communicating with customers and team members.
• Must be able to embrace and support change.
• Must be able to adapt to needs of the business per management directive.

Essential Job Functions

• Help Arrange inventory items on the sales floor in a neat in orderly manner, with direction from the sales manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of showroom floor vehicles including sweeping and dusting of inventory.
• Maintain and report inventory tagging discrepancies.
• Stage vehicles for customer pickups.
• Conducts customer deliveries by reviewing systems and features with the new owner of the vehicle (i.e. assisting a customer pair their phone to a navigation system).
• Assists customers in loading and safely securing their vehicle into a truck, trailer, or other transportation.

• Rotates battery chargers daily to minimize chance of dead batteries.
• Is aware of and reports any vehicle condition issues such as dead batteries, oil leaks, or flat tires. Has close communication with service department to remedy if present.
• Interacts with customers and team members in a friendly, professional manner.
