Job description

Looking for delivery drivers to work for a FedEx Ground contractor that providies service to local areas. Routes operate out of Barrington, NJ. The job involves operating a company owned vehicle while delivering packages to business and residential addresses. Must be motivated, as pay is based on delivery and package counts. One year of verifiable driving experience is required (UPS or Amazon experience preferred, food delivery experience is also accepted). No CDL required. Background check, drug test and a physical (employer paid) are mandatory.

Both full-time and part-time delivery positions are available.

Pay is based on a per stop / per package rate. Training is required and pays $17. Most employees complete training in 4-5 days and are able to earn over $20 per hour once they are operating a vehicle. Hourly rate is based on your abilities. Many experienced drivers finish routes in less than 6 hours.

Full time applications must be flexible with scheduling, as routes operate 7 days a week. Start time is typically 7am.

Part time positions are available. Routes operate 7 days a week. Start time is typically 7am.

Candidates should understand that the job requires continuous physical activity, from loading the truck to exiting and entering the vehicle frequently, regularly lifting large or heavy packages and walking to business and residences for deliveries
