DELIVERY DRIVER Position:

We are looking for a safe delivery driver with a passion for service and a commitment to making sure everything runs smoothly and we go above and beyond our clients' expectations.

You will report to the Catering and Hospitality Managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the daily loading, transport, and unloading of our products from our Commissary location to our multiple locations throughout the city and in St. Charles. Additionally, the Delivery Driver will assist operations in the Warehouse with cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, and packing for our national shipping program. The candidate must be able to pass a background driver's screening check before being hired.

• Load all product securely and accurately and deliver on time to the store locations.
• Unload and assist with the proper storage of product at the stores.
• Drive safely and responsibly, representing our company well while on the road as well as taking care of the company's van(s).
• Perform basic van upkeep duties such as gas refilling, making sure the tires have air, and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate manager.
• Assist the warehouse with organizing, stocking, cleaning, sanitizing, and other general upkeep duties as assigned.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to comply with food safety and transport procedures.
• Ability to be organized and capable of multi-tasking with efficiency.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stand and be on feet for extended periods of time in varied climate conditions.
• Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs at times.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekend and holiday. Scheduled days and times may vary based on business needs.

SCHEDULE:

• 5 days a week
• 8 hours/day

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold valid driver's license and be able to pass a background driver's check.
