New Horizons is a non-profit organization that has been supporting Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities in Lake Havasu City, AZ for almost 50 years. We pride ourselves in community integration with the support we provide through various programs, which include, eight residential settings, day programs, habilitation, and group supported employment. New Horizons is looking for a Residential Coordinator to empower individuals with lifelong disabilities to enjoy life by promoting abilities and respecting personal choice.

Day Program Floater: The “floater” employee will need to have availability from 6:00AM – 6:00PM, Monday
through Friday. The “floater” will receive their assigned schedule Wednesday of every week for the upcoming week.
The “floater” shift is ideally a fill in shift that will assist the Day Program, Parker Run and Group Supported
Employment departments to meet the departments scheduling needs.
Day Program Responsibilities: Participate in activities with the individuals we support. Activities may include:
swimming, bowling, fitness center, arts and crafts, cooking, volunteering in the community, etc. Helping with
personal needs while out in the community, such as toileting, food preparation, community and safety skills. Must
be creative with new ideas to implement within the program, and must have the ability to coordinate with other
employees. Must be willing to work with flexible groups. Responsible for vehicle inspections and cleanliness. Data
entry, documentation, and charting will be an important part of the shift.
Group Supported Employment Responsibilities: Develop relationships with businesses in the community that employ individuals that we support. With input from the host employer, determine work to be done by the individual/s and develop a strategy to teach the skills needed to complete all work. Supervise and support a crew of workers. Provide feedback to Program Coordinator regarding individual/s needs and progress. Transportation of individuals to Job Sites. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
