Work you'll do
Minimum qualifications (per contract) include:
- 6+ years of experience performing accounting reconciliations or financial audits in financial services industry.
- 4+ years of experience performing detailed analysis of asset and liability data for a financial institution.
- Experience working on or supporting IT projects in the financial services industry.
- Experience with accounting and general ledger processing in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of financial operations and procedures involving entering, modifying and
- correcting information in a computerized system to assure accuracy.
- Ability to develop, analyze and advise on improved methods to increase use of automated work procedures.
- General knowledge of SQL or other data transformation tools used in the financial
- services industry.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of financial institution applications sufficient to respond to requests for reports and data and to support the reconciliation process.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to deal effectively and communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written communications
