Job Details for the Medical Claims Data Entry Associate:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE (40 hours per week, any start time between 6am-9am)
- Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Job Responsibilities & Description for the Medical Claims Data Entry Associate:
- Research claims and reach out to health insurance companies for additional information as needed
- Submit claims to insurance companies
- Submit adjustments for claims
- Maintain current patient account information at all times
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Job Requirements for the Medical Claims Data Entry Associate:
- Strong computer skills
- Previous experience utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus!
- Experience with health insurance is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
