I am looking to hire a consultant to work as a Data Engineer. This is a contract job to start and will convert to full time employment. Our client is as industry leader in their trade.

The work can be done via hybrid work. Person must be onsite 2 days week in c in Hoboken NJ, Seattle WA or Sunnyvale CA

?Minimum 3 years of experience working within large systems
?Experience leveraging big data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, Spark
?Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and architecture
?Experience with apache kafka, databases
?Experience with visualization tools for data reporting such as Tableau, Looker
?ETL Experience
?Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams
?Appreciate productivity and care deeply about helping others work more effectively and efficiently

Bonus Points
?Experience with adobe analytics / google analytics

Build and maintain data pipelines and architecture specific to analytics
Work with the stakeholders to understand the business & reporting needs ? Propose, design and develop creative dashboard solutions that provides required insight, improve/automate processes and adds value
Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build systems
Influence and educate the team with your experience, idea and learning
