We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy that prides itself on our commitment to customer service and helping our community. Here at Taconic Pharmacy you will find a pharmacy that is up to date with any and all new products available while maintaining that old mom and pop feel. We are a full service one stop shop for our patient's needs: we are here seven days a week, offer free delivery, accept all major insurances, are preferred on most Medicare Part D plans, offer prescription compounding services, rent and sell many surgical and first aid items, rent breast pumps, and carry a wide variety of gift and toy items along with our selection of American Greetings cards and lotto. We are also proud to offer the COVID-19 vaccine and testing services.

Prior experience in this area is not required but is helpful.

Applicants must be polite, patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls
  • Price and stock orders
  • Ring in sales on cash register (both in pharmacy area and front store including lotto sales)
  • Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers

Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
  • Basic computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
