Customer Service/ Order Entry (DIRECT HIRE)

An established plastics injection molding manufacturer is seeking a talented Customer Service/ Order Entry Representative to join their team!

Essential Duties may include:

• Managing the day to day operations of the manufacturing office
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, fax, etc. to identify customer needs and requests
• Partner with Planner/Scheduler to review open order report daily and keep customer informed of production status
• Receiving and entering orders/change orders using information provided by the customer
• Maintaining a log of customer communication to ensure satisfaction and timely response
• Following up on the status of all orders and informing customer of any delays or issues
• Creating requisitions for supply orders and submitting to the Purchasing Department
• Performing safety checks on the floor and ensuring all employees are following PPE protocols

Requirements:

• 5+ years of customer service experience (manufacturing)
• Plastic injection molding experience preferred
• Prior use of IQMS / ERP systems and software
• Professional and timely communication by phone/email

Position Details:

• The typical hours for this role will be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
• Pay is dependent upon prior experience / skill-set
