Job description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will provide building supervisory capacity for the YKSD CTE facilities, which includes dorms, classrooms, CTE labs and offices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with youth.
Experience: Prior experience working with rural Alaskan students desired. Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
Abilities: Able to travel extensively (to sites and for academies). Computer literate with knowledge of the current technology used in the position.
DUTIES & EXPECTATIONS
- Ensure facilities are safe and ready for students and staff.
- Oversee minor maintenance of YKSD’s CTE designated areas and buildings in coordination with the YKSD Maintenance Department.
- Coordinate facility scheduling.
- Ensure all CTE equipment is safe and in working order.
- Order equipment and repairs as necessary.
- Inventory CTE equipment and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and routine repair of CTE sites.
- Maintain educational supplies for the CTE classes and facilities.
- Maintain custodial supplies.
- Inspects buildings for proper maintenance, health, and safety conditions.
- Set up rooms for classes, meetings, and special events and arrange for proper equipment.
- Inventory CTE supplies and equipment
- Sweeps walks, shovels snow, maintains grounds and courts of buildings.
- Maintains general cleanliness of the building during the day.
- Expedite CTE supplies and equipment to sites.
- Complete all tasks with high standards and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.03 per hour
