This position could reside in either one of our Distribution Centers in Dayton, Ohio or Las Vegas, NV or in our corporate office in Broomfield, CO.
The Manager of Global Inventory Control will over-see all aspects of inventory control efforts as they relate to our 3PL relationships globally. The Role will coordinate with other Distribution and Logistics team members to implement and supervise key inventory controls at facilities handled through a 3rd party logistics agreement. Key controls will include cycle counting procedures, test counting physical inventory, assist in inventory discrepancy investigations, month end shipping cut-off and reviewing inventory adjustments. The role will be heavily focused on North America, with additional scope of UK/Europe and Asia.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Coordinate with Crocs and HEYDUDE teams to supervise contract terms specific to Inventory control
- Coordinate with Crocs and HEYDUDE teams to maintain a good working relationship with the 3PL partner
- Maintains consistent processes and procedures that support key inventory controls. (Cycle Counts, Adjustments, Shipping cut-off and Systems syncing)
- Monitor and track damage levels and work with the 3PL partner to advise programs crafted to reduce in-house damage
- Track all adjustments and necessary approvals
- Provide timely feedback to partners regarding performance against key controls
- Effectively uses reporting tools to generate appropriate reporting to communication key control metrics for all facilities
- Visit 3PL facilities to implement a test plan to validate integrity of inventory and reporting
- Coordinate requirements with internal and external audit
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Advise and review key Sox control inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Collaborate and nurture positive relationships with other teams including operations, finance and accounting
- Generate innovated solutions to support the 3PL relationship and control of inventory
- Ability to manage multiple 3PL partners, systems framework, and locations
- Ability to manage leadership and executive conversations, outlooks, reports
- Enable systemic transition from manual to new ERP, with the business and ops, for 3PL ability to meet controls requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- 5+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, with emphasis on inventory control processes and methods
- Prior experience within a Distribution Center environment
- Prior experience with transportation, logistics or distribution management
- Responsibility with hiring, training, and disciplinary actions
- Experience in an Omni-Channel Distribution environment processing Wholesale, Retail and E-Commerce orders is highly desirable
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong working knowledge of WMS
- Working knowledge of ERPs (SAP and/or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills, proven ability to pull reports and generate executive summaries as requested
- Extremely strong excel reporting capabilities
- Willing to Travel at least 50% of the time – with international travel potential.
