Job description
Twin Eagle Resource Management, LLC is looking for an experienced analyst to join the Credit team and to assist with the daily credit requirements of the Wholesale Energy Commodities business. The qualified candidate will have strong quantitative and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in basic reporting and analytic tools. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in the Energy industry is preferred. The position will initially report to the Credit Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform Credit Reviews including detailed Financials Statement Analysis
- Daily credit exposure monitoring and reporting
- Setting up Credit Limits and seeking Credit Approvals from Management
- Coordinating with counterparties on daily margin calls
- Managing letters of credit and guarantees. Negotiation with third parties as needed to ensure company’s credit risks are mitigated.
- Reviewing & Adapting Credit Language into Contracts (NAESB, ISDA’s, etc)
- Coordinating with contracts, legal and compliance teams to ensure appropriate agreements and documentation
- Investigating and resolving issues with clients and internals teams
- Ad hoc modeling, reporting, and analysis
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1-3 years of credit experience in Banking or Energy. Energy industry experience is preferred
- General understanding of MTM accounting, derivatives, including options
- Exposure to margining, credit concepts, and credit risk management instruments
- Understanding of Financial Statements and Key Ratios
- Understanding of Key Credit Platforms such as S&P, Moody’s, etc
- Performing Credit Reviews and presenting for approval
- Demonstrated experience with compliance procedures and related documentation requirements
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills. Client facing experience and negotiation experience a plus.
- Strong organization skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline is preferred
