Operating Company is looking for Crane Inspections Technicians to join their highly skilled team. You will be the face of a very reputable organization as you travel to customer owned facilities to inspect, repair, upgrade and maintain their equipment, primarily overhead crane systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Performs documented OSHA monthly and annual hoist and crane inspections
• You will be trained to perform documented safety inspections of specific types of equipment in keeping with OSHA guidelines
• Understand and manage equipment data including serial numbers, model numbers and other important identifiers which will help to quote repairs and order replacement parts

• Identify need parts, repair procedures, communicate with the customer, interface with our engineering department and perform the repair
• Clean, maintain and adjust crane hoisting mechanisms as well as other parts and features of the overhead crane
• Repair and replace defective parts and equipment as needed
• Test and evaluate mechanical and electrical operation
• Lubricate and check oil levels as needed
• Inspects crane for defective parts, notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions
• Discuss immediate safety and performance issues with the customer
• Electronically document all inspections, services performed, and hours worked through inspection application on a tablet.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or GED
• At least 3 years in an industrial maintenance environment or similar Military

Experience

• Must be a strong communicator, team player, with positive outlook and

“can-do attitude”

• Commitment to the safety of yourself and those around you
• Must be comfortable working at heights
• Attention to detail
• Industrial experience preferred
• Must be good with computers and tablets
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with making mechanical and electrical adjustments with hand tools
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical prints and OEM manuals
• Comfortable representing our company and interfacing with customer representatives
