MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED, and Valid certification of registration as a Beautician or Barber by the Mississippi Board of Cosmetology or Mississippi Board of Barber Examiners.

EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES:

· Provide hair care services to include shampooing, conditioning, cutting, coloring, styling, and performing various chemical and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments.

· Shave or trim facial hair.

· Performs and schedules hair and scalp care for residents.

· Sterilizes equipment and instruments and maintains cleanliness of the work area.

· Attends in-service training sessions to deal with disabled and/or potentially aggressive individuals as required by policies.

· Other task as assigned or requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24,023.49 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• cosmetology/barber: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Barbering License (Preferred)
• Cosmetology License (Preferred)
