Summary
Assist with the supervision of daily operations of the WIC Program by providing oversight to designated clinical and administrative operations of the WIC Program.
Work Schedule
:
- Position may be located at any Tarrant County WIC Clinic; therefore, traveling will be required using personal vehicle.
- Hours: M-F 9am-6pm and one (1) Saturday per month from 8am-5pm.
Grant funded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interviews, selects, and counsels employees.
- Assesses employee job performance and participates in the evaluation process.
- Provides staffing coverage as needed.
- Coordinates area activities for quality assurance, training, breastfeeding, nutrition education, and outreach.
- Advises Family Health Services Associateship on WIC issues.
- Oversees customer satisfaction through the performance of patient flow analysis, surveys, and direct observation.
- Assists with the development and implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support WIC services.
- Assists with the monitoring of contract performance measures.
- Promotes WIC services throughout Tarrant County.
- Acts as liaison to other health professional and community agencies.
- Acts as liaison to WIC vendors.
- Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the Public Health Department as assigned or required.
Minimum Requirements

TO APPLY, must have a Bachelor's degree or higher. Master's degree in Health Sciences, Public Health, or Business preferred.
TO APPLY , must have Two (2) full-time years of work experience in the WIC program.
TO APPLY, must have One (1) year full-time year of supervisory experience, having had the responsibility for supervising the work of employees and conducting their performance evaluations.
Spreadsheet and/or word processing software experience.
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
TO APPLY, must be a Registered Dietician.
