- Hours: Days (rotating hours and weekends)

What you will need:
- License: Current RN license in the state of IL required
- Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing required, BSN preferred
- Certification: BLS CPR required
- Experience: Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience in operating room setting required. Simulation experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, familiarity with operating room operations. Teaching experience preferred.
What you will do:
- Provides oversight of simulation facility, inclusive of staff, SOPs/protocols, medical devices and comparative models.
- In partnership with Surgical Director, plans, develops, implements and evaluates. education programs incorporating simulation techniques for all levels of personnel.
- Creates a strong educational environment for Physicians, Residents, Medical Students, Nursing and pre-hospital personnel.
- Coordinates support to any ancillary department who wishes to use simulators or the simulation center.
- In partnership with grant manager, drafts proposals for grant submissions and composes reports for administrators.
- Collaborates with faculty in developing ideas for innovative research and designing study protocol.
- Develops and manages relationships with external vendors.
- Ensures compliance with IACUC and supports annual accreditation reviews.
