The Banquet Cook is responsible for preparing food for banquets

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Prior line cooking experience including sautee, grill, fry oven and steam.
• Posses a team player attitude and be flexible.
• Understand and have basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Prior cooking experience plus 1-2 years prior cooking experience
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
• Must present a neat and professional appearance.
• Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
• Work prefers 2-3 years cook experience.
• Ability to read and follow directions from recipes.
  

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• High volume, fast paced, with frequent interruptions.
• Requires regular lifting and moving of furniture.
• Must interface well with co-workers and management.
• Long hours involved, flexible working hours and available on weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and pull/push up to 150 pounds.
• Able to work in temperatures ranging between 40 and 110.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to bend, lift, and reach throughout shift.
