Job Description:

Essential duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:

• Responsible for the detailed review of financial and operational reporting for several business entities
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements
• Work with and communicate effectively with all levels of employees to ensure achievement of required organization mandates
• Supervises designated accounting staff which includes training, motivating and evaluating staff to meet high standards necessary for the efficient and professional operation of the department
• Lead effective and timely communication between the audit team and staff during company audits
• Assure adherence to internal control processes and practices
• Provides information and assistance to outside tax accounting firm for the filing of returns
• Prepare and approve journal entries
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Display a strong work ethic, a motivated self-starter
• Prioritize, multi-task and understand the urgency of assigned deadlines
• Develop and promote effective working relationships with staff and management, as well as internal and external customers
• Maintain and protect company confidential information
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
• Additional duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $214,500.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• Turlock, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
