Job Description:

Our hospitality/restaurant/golf management facility is looking for a skilled Financial Bookkeeper/Controller who will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, payroll and accounts receivable/payable. The candidate must have excellent time management, organizational, and computer skills, as there are many moving parts to our organization and business. Training is available to understand our POS and Software System.

Job Requirements:

- A Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory accounting position.

- Experience and education of accounting procedures and principals.

- Strong knowledge with general ledger functions, month/year end closing procedures, and financial statement management.

- College Degree in Accounting preferred, but not required.

- Outstanding computer skills and the ability to learn new software programs quickly.

Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

- Tracking and processing accounts payable & receivable.

- Bank reconciliations, including daily reporting of cash balances

- Check processing

- Processing of monthly member statements/billing

- Monitoring accounts receivable for past due accounts

- Assist in preparation of month end close

- Providing financial statements including monthly P/L reports

- Inventory control and reconciliation

- Monthly sales tax reporting and filing

- Assist the club manager with human resources

- Payroll

Salary:

- $60,000 to $80,000 based on experience.
