Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Senior Legal Counsel to align the goals of the Contract Administration team with the company's strategic objectives.
Drive improvement processes that foster cross-functional collaboration, support company growth, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership, oversight, and professional development opportunities for the Contracts Administration organization.
Act as the representative of the Contract Administration organization in interactions with peer organizations and customers. This includes developing plans, coordinating work, negotiating terms, monitoring progress, and resolving any issues that may arise.
Ensure that contracts and contract modifications reflect stakeholder input and have obtained the necessary leadership approval before finalization.
Contribute to the planning, organization, monitoring, and evaluation of the Contract Administration team's activities.
Responsible for ensuring timely review of solicitations, proposals, contracts, and awards, and ongoing management of customer contract information (e.g., customer correspondence, and information maintained in the company ERP system).
Ensure timely review of solicitations, proposals, contracts, and awards, and maintain accurate customer contract information and correspondence in the company's ERP system.
Provide support for compliance-related activities, such as Export Control administration, regulatory requirements for business-level reporting, and maintenance of portals for customer representations and certifications.
Take direct responsibility for managing customer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including:
Reviewing customer solicitations and preparing responses for proposals, bids, and contract modifications.
Analyzing, reviewing, and redlining all contract documents referenced or incorporated by reference within the solicitation, including without limitation, special provisions, statements of work, and other terms and conditions to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, corporate policies, and business unit procedures.
Preparing and administering necessary correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submissions.
Preparing, organizing, and maintaining contract records and files that document contract performance, compliance, and contract closeout.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
At least 6 years of experience in contract management, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
1-2 years of experience working with government and commercial aerospace and defense contracts.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills suitable for effective communication with customers and various levels of management.
Demonstrated efficiency, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in contract management.
Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Ability to effectively interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders, both domestic and international.
Capability to collaborate with offsite teams.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite software.
Knowledge of IFS, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP/MRP software.
Familiarity with FARS, NFS, and DFARs requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in business or JD.
Knowledge of EAR and ITAR requirements.
