Hypower, LLC. is currently seeking an experienced Construction Recruiter to join our team!

We are looking for a Recruiter with experience in the construction industry who is proactive, innovative, and highly focused. In this role, you will drive recruitment efforts in support of our Construction and Field Services.

The Construction Recruiter will be responsible to execute end-to-end recruiting and employment activities including sourcing, screening, selecting, and hiring. Accelerate hiring velocity by streamlining applicant tracking and screening. Expand our sourcing reach to attract and convert qualified candidates by managing distributed job posting. Standardize interview evaluation criteria and processes. Mange our modernized offer management systems and provide a positive candidate experience with our digital offer process. The Craft Recruiter will develop a strategy to consistently attract and retain quality talent while ensuring maximum resource utilization to support project staffing.

Base Location is our main office in Fort Lauderdale, FL with recruiting efforts needed both regionally and nationally.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time, up to a week at a time, to various branch offices and job fairs.
• Capable of visiting job sites and adhering to all safety standards and background checks.
• Ability to work with an applicant tracking system and optimize our ads using online platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
• Willing to operate in a hands-on capacity for the attraction, management, and retention of craft employees.
• Follow our recruitment strategy in a Merit Shop (Non-Union) environment. This involves having the ability to:
• Conduct applicant interviews to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills, and negotiate compensation options.
• Assess talent based on standardized hiring questionnaires with desired responses predetermined.
• Administering and documenting skills assessment tests (developed in-house).
• Determine skill level and appropriate placement based on a scale of craft progression.
• Create, track, and monitor metrics.
• Prepare weekly reports for the hiring teams.
• Work on building a relevant talent pool of candidates.
• Use our existing database of past employees and candidates as a quick source for immediate placements.
• Assist in managing outsourced recruiting and temp to perm staffing agencies.
• Communicate daily with the divisional operations teams regarding their current manpower needs and candidates in the hiring pipeline.
• Initiate and conduct searches for local and regional openings using networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, employee referrals, career fairs, and advertising.
• Help manage advertising for job openings through hiring outlets.
• Assists regional management with facility openings and expansions about recruitment advertising, presence, and coordination.
• Attend job fairs to enhance recruitment efforts.

Education and/or Experience

• Three (3) to five (5) years of recruiting experience. (Direct electrical construction experience may be taken into consideration based on management s discretion).
• Recruiting within the electrical construction industry experience is preferred.

• Must possess an understanding of the full cycle recruiting process.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good sales skills and a self-starter who can work independently.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendliness.
