Job description

Atlas Construction is currently accepting applications from experienced concrete finishers wanting to advance their knowledge and construction careers. Job qualifications and responsibilities are as follows:

• Must be able to level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using a straightedge and float
• Must have at least 2 years of concrete construction experience
• Prior experience with slip form curb machine work is preferred, but not required
• Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM or later
• Must be able to follow directions and complete tasks assigned to you by your crew leader or supervisor
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to learn and retain information from day to day
• Must be physically able to lift up to 80 lbs regularly and perform stooping, kneeling, and digging
• Must be able to rake and shovel both concrete and gravel
• Must have proper clothing for working in all types of weather conditions. Hard Hats may be required
• May be required to use various forms of machinery including Concrete saws and drills
• Must either have a valid Ohio driver's license, or a reliable form of transportation to and from work every day
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be on time daily with reliable attendance
• Experience operating machinery such as Skid Steers and Excavators is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
