Retail Technology Group is a leader in the Point of Sale Industry providing end-to-end technology solutions for a vast number of major retailers. RTG is currently looking for Repair Technicians to work a morning shift at our HQ in Fenton, MO.
The Repair Technician Level-1 will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all POS and POS related equipment, including- point of sale terminals, impact printers, thermal printers, ink jet printers, servers, network switches, routers, workstations and all kitchen video related equipment. Assuring the equipment is up to the standard set by RTG.
The Repair Tech 's essential duties include;
- Troubleshooting, diagnoses and repair of all POS and POS related equipment, including- point of sale terminals, impact printers, thermal printers, ink jet printers, servers, network switches, routers, workstations and all kitchen video related equipment
- Refurbishment of equipment and assuring quality is up to the standard set by RTG
- Make weekly quota as set by shop manager/demands.
A successful Repair Tech will have the following attributes;
- Have a solid grasp on PC hardware and troubleshooting skills, Point of Sale is a huge plus but not required.
- Positive Attitude and work well with others.
- The ability to take direction and stay level headed in an environment that can become high pressure at times
- High level of attention to detail is a must, the equipment that we service can be challenging, so refurbishing some of the units can be trying at times
If you meet the following requirements, we would like to meet you;
- Some college coursework in an IT related field or equivalent work experience
- Firm understanding of basic electronics and a well developed troubleshooting process
- Proficient with basic hand tools

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
