Essential Job Functions:
  • Support the Compliance Officer in ensuring that the company is operating in
accordance with all State and Federal regulations, including Illinois Gaming Board
regulations and the Illinois Liquor Control Act.
  • Perform research and consult as needed for property and/or corporate, from
small daily projects and questions to large-scale implementation procedures.
  • Responsible for auditing the Self-Exclusion program.
  • Audit the daily gaming activities of the casino in accordance with the System of
Internal Controls. This includes suspicious activity detection and reporting.
  • Responsible for confirming the weekly IGB Self-Evictions download is verified in
the casino management system.
  • Assist with all Compliance training preparation and implementation.
  • Ensure that all required vendors have had a due diligence check.
  • Responsible for the Title 31 audits and filings of CTRs and SARs.
  • Complete miscellaneous projects as assigned by the General Manager and
Compliance Officer.
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be 21 years of age or over
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma with experience in administrative regulatory
research, or training and auditing environment required
  • Must understand and speak the English language
  • 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience
Preferred:
  • 4+ or more years of higher education in Accounting/Business or a related field
  • 3+ years Title31 experience
  • 3+ years of casino experience
  • CAMS, CFE, GAMS, CAFP, or CFCS certification
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by
local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and the
Internet is required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence, memos, legal documents, and subpoenas
  • Ability to review documents for regulatory requirements
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to
customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
