Full Job Description

Looking for an experienced Personal Support/Companion near the North Palm area to provide companionships services to a Young lady in her mid 20s year such as: take client to tennis practice, to the mall, walking her dog, assist with chores and other ideal places 2 to 3 days out of the week.

• At least 6 months’ verifiable experience in direct client care
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance and CPR training
• Level II FBI fingerprint background
• Solid time management abilities as well as excellent communication/interpersonal skills and an empathetic and compassionate bedside manner are a MUST

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: One location

• Prepare meals, shopping, errands, and transport patients to and from appointments
• Light-Housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, laundry, etc.
• Must be professional and have a passion for the disabled and elderly
• Keep rooms clean and sterile and change soiled bedding and bedpans
• Answer calls for help and is a patient and compassionate care-taker for your patients
• Follow state and federal mandated standards and procedures (AHCA & HIPAA)
• High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
• Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail and documentation
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work long hours on one’s feet often during long shifts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• All candidates must be must be compassionate, patient, and caring
• Level 2 Background check required
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, valid registration
• Auto liability insurance with bodily injury
• CPR certification required within the last two years

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• On call

• North Palm Beach, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
