Community Engagement Manager
Come drive Massive Bio’s commitment to helping every cancer patient access the best possible care as our Community Engagement Manager. In this role, you will use your keen research abilities to identify cancer patient communities worldwide. You will use your exceptional communication skills to engage and inform members of those communities of the resources available through Massive Bio and make clinical trials more accessible.
Key responsibilities will include:
Conduct landscape assessment of all cancer patient communities and expand Massive Bio’s engagement in cancer patient communities across the globe.
Develop informative content and marketing materials including patient stories to engage and retain cancer patient communities.
Educate patient communities with informative content in the form of Webinars, Facebook live events, interviews etc.
Build partnerships and brand alignment with patient support/advocacy groups/organizations.
Take leadership of the Massive Bio’s social mission and communicate/incentivize this to the communities.
Create new retention strategies to acquire patients and maximize patient engagement and retention in the context of oncological clinical trials.
Tie community engagement to key product metrics such as acquisition, activation, conversion and retention.
Find & engage influencers in the field using systematic research to create long- lasting relationships with the community leaders.
Manage outreach activities and book meetings with community leaders & patient advocates.
Skills, abilities, and knowledge:
Working knowledge of patient advocacy codes of conduct and regulations across major geographies.
Working knowledge on how pharmaceutical clinical trials integrate patients into their drug development life cycles.
Sharp vision for finding patient communities & utilizing software to find & reach community leads.
Able to identify and effectively reach out to the best patients for the clinical trial.
Very strong written and oral communication, organizational, analytical, and technical skills.
Knowledge of HubSpot workflows & adept on email marketing.
Experience with Community Management tools.
Education and experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Life Sciences, etc.).
3+ years of experience online/digital community building.
Oncology experience is a plus.
