Optimae LifeServices in Cedar Rapids is looking for part-time (with opportunity for full-time) Direct Support Professional Staff working 1:1 in the community and our customer's homes. The ideal candidate needs to be highly motivated to work alongside people with disabilities.

Duties:

• Utilize our customer's individualized service plans to teach daily living skills.
• Support our customer's in their living, social and learning environments.
• Support our customers in achieving personal goals of their own choice.
• Assist customers with managing and following through with appointments.
• Complete individual service documentation following Optimae's policy and procedure.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings and personalized monthly coaching.
• Communicate with team members.

We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Flexible scheduling and no experience necessary, we will train.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance.
