Ducks Roofing Company Inc. has been providing Commercial Roofing Services in the Tidewater area of Virginia since 1976. We are currently seeking a qualified Estimator/Manager for roofing and roofing repairs to join our team.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Estimator/Manager Person is responsible for:

a. Attending pre-bids, and gathering information needed to provide a quote for the work that is requested.

b. Visit perspective and current customers to discuss specific roofing needs.

c. Make drawings of roofing projects.

d. Be capable of reading and understanding drawings and specifications.

e. Be proficient in determining what is needed to accomplish work that is requested for reroofing or roofing repair.

f. Accurately estimate the cost of specified work (labor, materials, and other costs) in order to provide customers with a quote.

g. Be capable of formulating a schedule of values, and submittal packages.

H. Be capable of ordering material for jobs.

Qualifications and Skills

High School diploma is required.

Minimum 3 years experience in some form of Construction Management., experience as a commercial roofing sales/estimator is preferred.

* Experience in Construction Project Management, Construction Estimating, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Management in similar Trades a plus.
